Pär Carlshamre is an Investment Manager at Almi Invest and has invested in more than 30 startups over almost 15 years. After obtaining his doctorate from LiU, he worked extensively with R&D-related business development and leadership in both small and large companies in Sweden and internationally before entering the venture capital industry.

13:20-14:00 The significance and strengths of patent protection and how to work towards obtaining strong patents.
Arne Jacobsson has a total of 30 years of experience working at the intersection of business and patents. Initially in the industry, then as a patent consultant, and for the past 18 years, he has been involved in the commercialization of research results at LiU. His first job in a startup was in 1984. He has also been the head coach in a unicorn.
The lecture is part of the Norrköping Science Park’s HOPE project, dedicated to support the growth of companies in the field of printed and organic electronics. This initiative is co-financed by Region Östergötland, Slättö, and the EU’s Regional Development Fund.
